It’s a DJ Premier weekend in SF
Tonight it’s Premier vs. Pete Rock in The Battle at Mighty. This show is sold out and there’s no guest list. Mighty’s gonna be packed!
Then tomorrow night the monthly Foundation party at SOM welcomes Premier to celebrate Mr. E’s birthday.
I was thinking about having Premier DJ my 50th birthday party in March, but now I may have to come up with a new idea. Hmmm …
Also tonight is the 20th Anniversary celebration for Dave Paul’s Bomb Hip-Hop at Madrone Art Bar. DJs will be playing hip-hop from 1979-1999. I suggest someone play this:
