Book Project: SF Hip-Hop Clubs 1990-1999

I am working on a book that will document San Francisco’s hip-hop party scene in the ’90s. I was active in the scene as a sometime DJ/all-the-time partygoer and although I am biased, it really was a special time.
If you were involved in that scene, I am asking for your help in remembering all the parties, venues, DJs, promoters, crews and live performances from that era. If you’d like to participate, please email me and I’ll send you links to a questionnaire and the spreadsheet of venues and parties that I’ve started.
