I had so much fun my first time DJing at Drake’s Dealership last month. Very happy to have two gigs there in October, the 3rd and the 17th, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. The pizza is bomb and you should already know that the beer is top quality.

So excited to play this fun monthly party at the Elbo Room this Friday night. It’s all ’80s hip-hop, bass and electro (and I’m gonna sneak in some freestyle), which is my favorite stuff to mix. All vinyl, of course!

Have you checked out the new Drake’s Dealership in Oakland yet? This Saturday would be a good time to do so because I’m DJing there from 1:00-4:00 pm. I’m looking forward to playing a wide variety of musical styles, including some of the new and new-ish vinyl I’ve picked up recently by Leon Bridges, Tame Impala, FKA Twigs, Thee Oh Sees, Beach House and Metronomy, that (except for Thee Oh Sees) I don’t get to play at 69RPM or my usual hip-hop gigs.
