Spindig Happy Hour 1/27/12
This Friday is the first Spindig of 2012 and the squad is back together after Joe Bank$ missed the last two. I can’t wait to play records and chill with my crew after the work week.
FollowBenefits for Toph One this weekend
This Sunday, January 22nd, I’ll be joining an awesome group of DJs at SOM to raise some funds for our friend, DJ/writer/artist and “Fearless Liter” of the notorious Wino Crew, Toph One, who is recovering from surgery after being struck by a car on his bicycle in a hit-and-run crash.
120 MINUTES
One of my favorite monthly parties in SF is 120 MINUTES, presented by Santa Muerte aka Whitch every first Friday night at the Elbo Room. The residents probably don’t approve of referring to it as a “witch house party,” but that’s my description. Basically, you’re gonna hear Kate Bush and Waka Flocka in the same DJ set.
New Year, end of an era
At the end of 2011, San Francisco said good-bye to an institution in the DJ and music community, Creative Music Emporium.
