SF Rap Fest success
Last night’s SF Rap Fest, with an all-rising-star lineup headlined by Das Racist, was a thoroughly entertaining, on-time rap show with good sound. Who knew that was possible? Here are my video highlights.
Here’s the full lineup. I also caught performances by Antwon and Main Attrakionz, who also delivered excellent performances. I caught some DJing by Marco de la Vega in the “BASEDment” but sadly missed Mykki Blanco.
Oops, I missed Das Racist. I heard they only did four songs but maybe that was an inaccurate complaint. Let me know if you saw them.
Big ups to Gary Rivera of JustOne Entertainment for putting this show together and making it happen. If you’re in the area and weren’t there, I guess you don’t like rap. It was the show of the year for me thus far!
