Phonographic Memory: San Francisco 1996 Retrospective 5/26
This Thursday evening in Latino/Hispanic Rooms A & B of the San Francisco Main Library, I’ll be participating in a special edition of Phonographic Memory. It’s the Main Library’s 20th anniversary so this will be a 1996 retrospective.
Along with musical artists Equipto, Penelope Houston and Jenö, I will present a record, tell the story of the record’s importance to me, and play it. Can you guess which important Bay Area hip-hop album from 1996 I’m going to present?
